It’s official! Environmental Enrichment (a.k.a. Mendability) is now validated as an effective therapy for autism
In May 2013, Behavioral Neuroscience published the results of the first study evaluating the effectiveness of Environmental Enrichment as a therapy for Autism. The results are very promising.
Studies also showed that without memorization of the sensory information, there is no learning possible and recognition of one’s environment is almost impossible as it can’t be related to past experience.
