Description
Greg Wootton is a licensed Occupational Therapist and graduate of University of Utah Division of Occupational Therapy in 2001. He has practiced primarily in Utah, although he has experience working in Nevada and New Mexico. He has specialized in neurological disorders in children, and has an affinity for providing evidence-based practice to children with autism, traumatic brain injuries, cerebral palsy, psychosocial and behavioral disorders, developmental coordination delays, dyslexia, dysgraphia, and many more conditions and barriers to functional independence in childhood occupations.
He has experience as director of therapy operations in 3 different hospitals, has worked in schools with children receiving IEP services and having difficulties with transitions.
Greg Wootton practiced as a member of the Mendability team, where he served as Sensory Enrichment Therapy (SET) certification trainer. He actively utilizes SET in his practice where he sees children making improvements at an estimated 6x greater level of improvement than standard therapy alone.
Greg is an active member and participant in his professional associations including the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) and National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
Greg would very much love to work with your child and provide best practice solutions for your child and family needs!
